Data & accuracy
Where does GoalPulz get its match data?
All live scores, events, lineups, xG and standings come from the Sportmonks API — an official football data provider covering 1 000+ leagues. Data is polled every 30–60 seconds during live matches.
How accurate is the xG data?
GoalPulz uses Sportmonks' xG (Expected Goals) and xGOT (xG on Target) figures, which are derived from shot-location models built on millions of historical shots. Live xG requires Sportmonks' Advanced Stats add-on, which GoalPulz subscribes to for real-time coverage.
Why does a score or event sometimes appear late?
Live data has a 30–60 second API polling cycle plus a brief processing step. During extremely fast sequences of events, there can be a 1–2 minute lag. This is normal for web-based live scores.
Do you correct data errors?
Yes. If you find an error, report it via the contact page. We review data quality reports and apply corrections as soon as Sportmonks updates their feed.
Features & coverage
Which leagues does GoalPulz cover?
Over 1 000 leagues and competitions worldwide via Sportmonks, including Eliteserien, Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Champions League, Europa League and hundreds more domestic competitions.
What statistics are available per match?
Match pages show: live score and events, xG and xGOT, possession, shots on/off target, dangerous attacks, fouls, cards, corners, lineups and player ratings. The Tracking tab shows granular passing and pressing metrics where available.
What do the match predictions mean?
GoalPulz displays transparent Poisson-based win/draw/loss probabilities computed from recent form, home advantage and goals scored/conceded. During live matches these probabilities update as goals and events occur. They are statistical indicators, not betting advice.
What referee statistics are shown?
Referee pages show cards per game, yellow and red card rates, penalties per game, foul count per game, over-X cards frequency, and result bias (home/draw/away win rate under that referee).
Can I see player statistics?
Yes. Player pages include season stats, rating history per match, xG + xA contributions (expected goals and expected assists), an attribute balance radar, transfer history and recent match data.
Account & pricing
Is GoalPulz free?
Core features — live scores, match stats, standings, player profiles and referee analytics — are free for all users. Premium analytics layers are in development; any changes will be announced in advance.
Do I need an account to use GoalPulz?

Technical
Why do I see placeholder data?
Some leagues have limited Sportmonks coverage, or a match may not yet have detailed stats entered by the data provider. Pages will update automatically as data becomes available.
Does GoalPulz have a public API?
Not at this time. For data collaboration or B2B enquiries, contact partners@goalpulz.com.
How do I report a bug?
Use the contact form and select category "Bug report". Screenshots and the page URL help us resolve issues faster.
